About Me

My hope is that in visiting this page you are on the first step of offering yourself a new approach to the challenges you are facing. It means a lot to be heard and no one likes to feel lonely or alone. That is the beauty I believe in the therapeutic process— a bond with an unbiased, non-judgmental person who listens. I aim to offer you just that!

My belief is that caring for our mental health is vital in living well and asking for help is a part of that. With all the struggles we face on a daily basis: grief, depression, anxiety and trauma-related issues are ever more common. A strong therapeutic bond can help to ease the symptoms that stem from our mental health struggles— someone to bear witness to our challenges.

I utilize my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) along with a cognitive-behavioral (CBT), trauma-focused, strengths-based, client-centered and motivational approach. I specialize in trauma, grief, mood disorders, anxiety and investigating attachment styles.  I also have a unique background in athletics, fitness & wellness that I believe influences my process.

I am happy to discuss more about my approach prior to a first session.

I look forward to working together!

Warmly,

Megan Kelly, LCSW-C
